Hello everyone,
Recently I have been thinking about the world that we have created and I realized something, that we have yet to achieve anything. I know many people that would argue that technology is a great achievement and that that alone should be enough to persuade me to change my mind but the question is what have we done with it? The answer is nothing, we have done absolutely nothing with the great computers and machines that we have created except use them to create new ways to kill ourselves and others in more imaginative ways. Why could we not stop looking for ways to blow up another country. I have been doing some looking around and I have seen people in 3rd world countries that are happier than anyone I have ever seen. In these countries they have to scrimp and scrape for everything that they have and still are able to smile at each other at the end of the day. In another country there are people dieing from what we consider "common sicknesses" and still have the courage to work for what they have, so I say what have we done with the great and mighty technologies except kill.
